AI agents train a robot duck in Jensen Huang's GTC Berlin finale

Why it matters

Jensen Huang closed his GTC Berlin keynote with a Hermes Agent demo: he installed and set up a customized Hermes (Nous Research) in one prompt, then used it on NVIDIA RTX Spark to create a simulated training environment for Microduck, the affordable open-source biped from Pollen Robotics and Hugging Face. NVIDIA's walkthrough shows Hermes and Nemotron 3.5 Bolt turning the prompt into a step-by-step plan, a local image model drafting the course, and Hermes automatically delegating to GPT-6 Astra, which models objects in FreeCAD and Blender and assembles the course in Isaac Sim with Newton physics. Ramp training ran 4,096 parallel environments in Isaac Lab on one RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPU, and the policy is then tested in Isaac Sim on RTX Spark. Caveat: NVIDIA says sim-to-real differences still need refinement, and detailed hardware deployment is outside the guide's scope.
