agent-desktop: Vercel's open-source computer use for any AI agent
Why it matters
Vercel Labs released agent-desktop (launch post Oct 31), an open-source CLI and C library that lets AI coding agents read and operate desktop apps on macOS, Windows and Linux through the OS accessibility tree instead of guessing from pixels, so actions stay stable and safe to retry. The launch post says it runs in the background and several agents can work in parallel, each with its own cursor. Built with Rust, Apache-2.0, installed via npm; v1.0.2 is the latest release.
